Roy Wegerle

Luton boss, Ray Harford, bought Wegerle for a bargain £75,000 from Chelsea in 1988 and he was a crucial part of the Luton set up as he scored in both of the semi final legs of the league cup against West ham as Luton booked a place in the final. Wegerle scored 10 goals in 45 appearances for Luton and then moved for £ 1 million to Queens Park rangers, resulting in a huge profit made by Luton. Wegerle was top goal scorer for QPR during the 1990-91 season.

Andy Dibble

Dibble played for a variety of clubs during his football career including, Cardiff City, Luton Town, Aberdeen, Bolton, Rangers and Sunderland. He is most notable for saving a penalty in the league cup final against Arsenal in the year 1988. He spent four years in goal for Luton Town between 1984 and 1988. He is now considered a legend at the football club due to his heroic save.

Les Sealey

Sealey was a reliable goal keeper while in goal during his successful football career. He enjoyed a long spell in goal at Coventry city before spending seven years in goal for Luton Town, between 1983 and 1990. He made over 225 appearances in goal for Luton and helped the club reach the league cup final in 1988. he moved to Manchester Unite din 1990, and helped the club win the European cup winners cup in 1991 He later on enjoyed spells playing in goal for Aston Villa, Birmingham City, West ham united and Leyton orient.
