Kingsley Black

Kingsley Black bursted into the news headlines as an overnight phenomenon after his magnificent display which inspired Luton Town to victory in a thrilling3-2 League Cup final win (Littlewoods Cup) over Arsenal. It was Luton’s fist major honour in their history in football. Black made his league debut for Luton on 26th September 1987, in a 2-0 defeat by QPR. In the 1988-89 season, Black was given the number 11 shirt for Luton in a fine season which he scored eight goals as Luton reached the league cup final once again. Black had the ability to drift past defenders with relative comfort. His tight dribbling skills were complemented by his neat passing and pin point crossing. After four seasons at Luton, Kingsley Black moved over to Nottingham to play for Nottingham Forest. Black also made many international appearances for Northern Ireland.

Mick Harford

Harford started off his playing career with Newcastle, Bristol City and Birmingham before moving on to sign for Luton town in the year 1984. He is considered to be one of their greatest ever players, helping them win the league cup in 1988. After a number of years playing for the club, he moved on to sign for Wimbledon.

Brian Stein

Stein is the older brother of former Luton legend Mark Stein. Brian enjoyed two spells playing for Luton Town and made 427 appearances for the club and scored a total of 130 goals. He played between 1977 and 1987 and his second spell was between 1990 and 1991. He earned an international appearance for England in 1984.
