Steve Howard
Howard made a name for himself while playing for Hartlepool United between 1995 and 1999, making over 150 appearances for the club. He moved to Luton Town in the year 2001 and soon established himself as one of the most prolific goal scorers in the league. He won the ‘Golden boot’ award at the end of the 2001 – 2002 season, scoring 24 goals throughout the campaign.
Dwight Marshall
Marshall was arguably Luton Town’s finest player during the mid 1990’s. He was an inspirational figure into eh side during the 1993 – 1994 season, helping the club reach the semi finals of the competition, however they suffered defeat against Chelsea in the last four. He was a prolific goal scorer for the club and was a big loss during the 1994 – 1995 season as he suffered injury with a broken ankle.
Tony Thorpe
Thorpe was a prolific striker while playing for Luton Town during the mid 1990’s. He scored several crucial goals during the 1993 – 1994 season and helped the club each the semi finals of the FA cup. He scored over 20 goals for the Hatter during the 194 – 1995 season, enjoying a prolific run during the Christmas time period. |
