Matthew Taylor

Matthew Taylor started off his playing career at Luton Town between 1999 and 2002, making over 150 appearances for the club. In his debut season, he won the ‘young player of the year’ award. His fine displays in a Luton town shirt earned him a move to Portsmouth at the start of the 2002 – 2003 season. He soon established himself as a regular in the Portsmouth starting line up and is considered a great left back. He has now made over 175 appearances for Portsmouth.

Kevin Foley

Foley came through the ranks at Luton and after signing for the club in the year 2000, he made his professional team debut in the eyar2002. He was named as the young player of the season at the end of the 2002 – 2003 campaign. He is considered as a fine right back and has now made over 130 appearances for the club.

Chris Coyne

Coyne started off his playing career in his native country, Australia before enjoying spells in Britain playing for West ham, Brentford and Dundee. He signed for Luton Town in 2001 and soon established himself in the first team occupying the centre back position. He has now made over 225 appearances for the club and is currently club captain. He was named as the clubs football player of the year at the end of the 2004 -2 005 season.
